Challenge
A plain section of the fence sat directly in the line of sight from the patio entertaining area. The client wanted to turn this prominent but uninspiring spot into an attractive feature that complemented the outdoor space.
Approach
We installed a black laser-cut decorative screen with a teal backing to create depth and strong colour contrast. A lightly stained timber picture frame was then built around the screen, adding warmth, definition and a carefully finished edge that ties the feature into the timber fence.
Result
The once-overlooked fence line is now a distinctive focal point. The layered colours, detailed screen pattern and framed timber finish give the entertaining area a more considered outlook without requiring major changes to the existing fence.
Challenge: A large expanse of the property had been lost to steep, sloping ground, leaving the area completely unusable. The client wanted to reclaim the land and create a broad, practical space they could put to use.
