Challenge
The existing patio felt too small for the family's lifestyle and offered limited space for entertaining or relaxing. With the boundary fence close by, the challenge was to create a larger outdoor living area without making the space feel narrow or enclosed.
Approach
We extended the entertaining area by installing large-format concrete pavers that flowed seamlessly from the existing patio and continued down the side of the home. Contrasting paver colours were used to create visual interest and define the space, while carefully selected screening plants softened the fence line and added privacy without making the area feel closed in.
Result
The finished project transformed a small patio into a generous outdoor living space that feels like a natural extension of the home. The combination of bold paving patterns, clean lines and lush planting delivers both practicality and visual impact, creating a comfortable space for everyday living and entertaining while bringing the indoors outside.
