Challenge
A large expanse of the property had been lost to steep, sloping ground, leaving the area completely unusable. The client wanted to reclaim the land and create a broad, practical space they could put to use.
Approach
We installed a Super Sleeper retaining wall extending more than 17 metres, with returns on both sides to securely retain and define the full area. The retained zone was then filled and levelled to turn the difficult slope into a substantial open platform.
Result
The completed retaining wall has well and truly reclaimed the client's land. What was once inaccessible sloping ground is now a large, open blank canvas ready for its next use, with clean boundaries and considerably more functional space.
Challenge: The client described coming home after work with an ‘ugh’ feeling every time she walked through the front gate.
